Happy Friday everyone. If you’re here in the U.S. I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving celebration with plenty of stuffing and pie! Since most of us today are recovering from way too much food, I’ll keep this short and sweet. Have a wonderful weekend and I’ll see you back here next week.


A pretty winter white mantel by The Crazy Craft Lady. This has such a nice balanced feel to it. Those gorgeous silver candle sticks and on the opposite end the white trees. So many pretty elements.


I have stacks of peat pots that I recently bought at the dollar store and I love this idea by Homespun with Love. The peat pots are the perfect size for a little treat and these are perfectly presented with just the simplest of embellishment.


Another wood slice project and this one by The Gracious Wife. Simple name cards are inserted into a slice in the wood and adorned with a simple Rosemary sprig. Lovely!


I’m a big fan of Simply Suzanne’s photography and her Fall Favorites Wrap Up is a treat to look at. This pretty wreath was one of my favorites.


Is it cold where you are? It’s been in the 80’s here but cold at night and this Adult Chicken Noodle Soup by It’s Always Ruetten looks amazing.


Girlfriend Shoes shares this beautiful winter white wreath that has such a nice traditional look to it. The slightest splash of blue and the frosty pinecones are so pretty against the white wreath and white door.


Fyne’s Designs created this centerpiece box and covered it with birch paper. This gorgeous table with the traditional Christmas red and evergreen sprigs makes me want to go with a green and red motif this year.





 

A few weeks ago I created some free printable Birch Gift Tags and they were quite popular. Yay!  In honor of Thanksgiving, I created a matching set of Birch Thank You cards. I’m so thankful for all of you and wanted to share these with you on this day of thanksgiving. The link to download the free printable is at the end of the post.


Here’s how the cards print out (they’ll print without the crop and fold lines). Simply print them on white cardstock, cut and fold. Easy!

Need to dress up your holiday table with some elegant chargers? This simple tissue paper and Mod Podge project turns ordinary glass chargers into specialty store knock offs.


Nothing makes me happier than a good recycling project. I am so going to start saving my soda cans so I can make some of these wonderful projects using a variety of craft punches. The author shows us two different styles of Christmas trees.


I’ve seen tutorial for using mirror spray paint to create mercury glass but this project uses the mirror spray paint to create a stenciled decorative design. Gorgeous.


It never dawned on me to use playing cards in crafting. But the backs of cards are so pretty. I just picked out a few projects from the book but there are over 30 amazing ideas – painted ornaments, felt stockings, glittered garlands, advent calendars and more. Each project includes detailed instructions with photos, plus techniques, materials and tools.
